Oberyn “The Red Viper” & Doran “The Grass” Martell
Can’t wait to see the Martells show up next season (I think). On a side note, characters in these series have some kickass nicknames.

COLDHANDS
Wait a second… who the hell’s this guy? Non-readers probably have no idea who Coldhands is, but I have a feeling he’ll be showing up sooner than later.
While his true identity hasn’t been revealed yet in the books, a lot of people have been wondering whatever happened to Benjen Stark?

Last time I posted the whole batch at once. This time I’ll just have to astound you one at a time. And with that…
ALLONS-Y!

Sandor Clegane
He’s a remorseless, hateful murderer who loves nothing but killing and drinking.
He’s also one of the most popular characters in the series. Go figure!

Lord Petyr Baelish
I know a lot of people like him cause he’s a pimp and some kind of secret mastermind (and for moves he makes later in the series,) but I maintain that this guy is bad news. Besides the fact that he betrayed Ned, that facial hair just screams EEEEEEvil!
Some behind the scenes, I tried a different method of coloring and shading on this one. I need to practice it a bit more but I really like the mood it gave this piece.

“Burn them all!”
So Game of Thrones is coming back next week (F—- Yeah!) and I figured I’d post some work based on the series.
By the time the story begins Aerys II is long dead, but he casts a long shadow over everything that happens moving forward.
For people who just watch the TV series (nothing wrong with that) all you really know is that there was a guy called the Mad King, he was a jerk, and Jaime kingslayed him. The show doesn’t really get into just how crazy this guy was. Like, foot-long-fingernails crazy. Like, turned-on-by-fire crazy. Like, rape-and-abuse-his-wife crazy. Plus what he did to Ned Stark’s family is to messed up to even get into right now.
So just in case you were wondering, that “Mad King” nickname, not an exaggeration.
